Define the Authority You Intend to Own.
Before the market can recognize your authority, you must be clear about what you want to be known for.
- What problem are you uniquely qualified to solve?
- What experience gives you the right to lead the conversation?
- What position do you want to occupy in the mind of your audience?
- What do you believe separates your approach from the alternatives?
- Claiming your authority is not bragging.
It is clearly defining the value, experience, perspective, and responsibility you are prepared to own.
Without that clarity, your message becomes generic, your marketing becomes scattered, and the market decides for itself where you belong.
You cannot build authority around a position you have never clearly claimed.
